35kV Superconducting Current Limiter was under Debugging in Kunming 2007-12-12
In October 2007, Yunnan Power Grid Corporation began the preparation of installing the 35kV Superconducting Fault Current Limiter. On November 11, the Superconducting Fault Current Limiter was safely installed on the foundation platform, and the test proved that the design of the SFCL is consonant with the requirements. In early November, the tank of DC control cabinet and refrigeration system was carried to the site. The staff of the Innopower Corp. and Kunming Electric Power Supply Bureau completed the installment at the end of November. At present, the 35kV Superconducting Fault Current Limiter prototype is still under debugging, and the finished parts have met the design requirements.
