"Superconducting Fault Current Limiter" was awarded the second batch of innovation product title of Beijing 2009-3-14
The "Superconducting Fault Current Limiter" which was researched and produced by Innopower has won the second batch of innovation product title of Beijing after the assessment by professional experts. Superconducting and electrical experts generally agreed that, superconducting fault current limiter will firstly achieve commercialization in the electrical application of superconducting technology. After the breakthrough of key technologies, Innopower completed the research of 35kV/90MVA saturated-core superconducting FCL and the live-grid operation shows a good performance. At present, Innopower is working on 220kV superconducting fault current limiter, and will promote its industrialization.
