Innopower invests to build its electrical and mechanical laboratories to test the electrical and physical performance of superconductor wire and cable samples.
We began to purchase and fabricate experiment instruments and equipment in May, 2002. Now we have the ability to test critical superconducting transition temperature, critical current density, superconductor performance under magnetic field, the influence of thermal-cycling on superconductors, multi-layer cable's AC loss, the influence of mechanical distortion on superconductors, cable current distribution and cable current AC loss. Now we will emphasize on improving testing means and advancing test atomization level.

The currently ongoing experiments:
1. HTS cable current distribution.
2. HTS cable AC loss.
3. The influence of mechanical stress on Ic of superconductor wire.
4. Long tape superconductor's physical characteristic under constant electromagnetic field.
