Innopower enjoys a leadership with
vision, expertise, and world outlook. Both Dr. Zhenghe Han,
Chairman of the Board, and Dr. Ying Xin, General Manager, received
their PhDs in the West and worked extensively in the leading
HTS research centers in Europe and the United States before
joining Innopower.

Dr. Zhenghe Han Chairman of the
Board, graduated from Tsinghua University in 1982, Dr. Han
now holds the "Changjiang Scholar" professorship
and is Director of the Applied Superconductivity Research
Center at his alma mater. Between 1986 and 2000, Dr. Han worked
on HTS materials at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden
and the NKT Research Center in Denmark.

Dr. Qing Liu, Director and General Manager of InnoST.Graduated
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering at the Department
of Metallurgy and Material, Chongqing University, China in 1984.
In 1987 and 1991, Dr. Liu obtained his Masters and Doctor degree
respectively, in Engineering at the Department of Metal Material
and Techniques, Harbin Institute of Technology in China, whilst
at the same time working as Assistant Lecturer at the faculty.
In 1991, Dr. Liu conducted his post-doctoral research at the
University of Science and Technology of Beijing, and was promoted
to Associate Professor in the following year. Dr. Liu further
pursued his advanced technological research and development
in Denmark and in 1993, he acted as a Visiting Researcher and
Senior Researcher at the Material Research Department of Ris?
National Laboratory in Denmark for about six years in respect
of industrial materials processing and related research. Dr.
Liu returned to China in 1999 and served as a Professor and
Tutor of doctoral students at the Department of Material Science
and Engineering of Tsinghua University in China since then.
During the period from 1998 to 2000, Dr. Liu also acted as the
chief representative in China for the Denmark-headquartered
HKL Technology Company and was responsible for promoting the
company’s products. In March 2001, Dr. Liu widened his business
exposure by attending the Executive MBA Program held by Guanghua
School of Management Peking University.
Dr. Liu joined InnoST since 2000 as Director and General Manager.
He is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Company’s
production, overall operations, as well as the Company’s strategic
development and investment planning.

Dr. Ying Xin, General Manager, received a B.S. from Tianjing
University in 1983, and a PhD from University of Arkansas in
1991. He has been working extensively on HTS material and applications
for 15 years, during which he was for 8 years a senior researcher
and lead scientist at the Midwest Superconductivity Inc., Lawrence,
Kansas, USA. He holds six US patents in superconductor material
and applications and has an impressive publication record. Dr.
Xin assumed his present position at Innopower in 2001.

Xicheng Yang, a senior engineer, graduated from Wuhan University
of Water Conservancy and Electric Power with the major of electric
power plant chemistry in July, 1982. He worked in power plant
of patrol and inspection office, Yunnan Province from July 1982
to July, 1985, and then was employed in Diandong electric bureau,
Yunnan Province. He has experienced the career of education,
technique, technological management and department leader,etc.
During the period of August 1987 to April 1998, he organized
a QC team to solve many problems of production as well as the
problems of management, initializing the oil purifying technique
of the electric transformer with extra high voltage and high
capacity in running.
From April 1998 to November 2002, he was the director engineer
of Production Technology Plan Dept, Diandong Electric Bureau,
pluralizing many other positions such as officer of Technology
Supervision office, responsibling for the technological management,
chemistry supervision and nine other technological supervision
and management. From 1998 to 2002, he won 20 technological projects
from Yunnan Power group, with financial support 20 millions
RMB. Since 1999,he has ever got 11 awards of technological Development,
among which one is the third-class award of innovative achievement
of national electric enterprise management modernization.
He has published 10 papers, of which the computing for the fault
power inside the transformer has been embodied in the national
Chinese scientific and technical library.

Dr. Bo Hou, R&D Dept. Manager, obtained his master's degree
from School of Energy Resources & Power Engineering of Huazhong
University of Science & Technology in 1995. From 1995 he
worked in Yunnan Electric Power Group Co. Ltd. as an engineer
focusing on measurements and procedure protections of power
grid. In 2001 joined in Innopower as a senior technological
talent.
